REIKI

The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words - Rei which means "God's Wisdom or the Higher Power" and Ki which is "life force energy". So Reiki is actually "spiritually guided life force energy."

A treatment feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through and around you. Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation and feelings of peace, security and wellbeing. Many have reported miraculous results.



QIGONG

Qigong is a wonderful form of martial arts that uses subtle movements to bridge the mind and body and promote self-enlightenment. Practitioners often feel a higher sense of purpose and awareness as their bodies receive a concentrated influx of life-giving chi (energy and breath).

BOWEN

The Bowen Technique, a healing, often miraculous, life-changing hands-on therapy, is revolutionizing the healthcare world!

A simple and powerful technique that helps relieve all kinds of pain, it is so gentle that it can be used on anyone, from newborn infants to the elderly.

The Bowen Technique is not massage, acupressure or chiropractic. There is no manipulation, adjustment or force used. The practitioner uses thumbs and fingers to gently move muscles and tissues. In between each set of moves, the practitioner leaves the room.

ACUPUNCTURE

In contrast, many Western practitioners view the acupuncture points as places to stimulate nerves, muscles and connective tissue. This stimulation appears to boost the activity of your body's natural painkillers and increase blood flow.

Syncronicity

Synchronicity is an explanatory principle, according to its creator, Carl Jung. Synchronicity explains "meaningful coincidences," such as a beetle flying into his room while a patient was describing a dream about a scarab. The scarab is an Egyptian symbol of rebirth, he noted. Therefore, the propitious moment of the flying beetle indicated that the transcendental meaning of both the scarab in the dream and the insect in the room was that the patient needed to be liberated from her excessive rationalism. His notion of synchronicity is that there is an acausal principle that links events having a similar meaning by their coincidence in time rather than sequentially. He claimed that there is a synchrony between the mind and the phenomenal world of perception.

Even if your unable to resolve a current task at hand, your peace of mind and faith will allow you to trust that the angels and God will take care of you. If something in your life isn't working, be willing to release it to God and the angels.

The angels reassure you that tranquility and refreshed peace of mind is within you. As you work toward serenity, and inner peace your life's unforeseen problems begin to lessen and disappear.

This means avoiding the temptation to procrastinate. It means developing more self-trust and more in-the-moment connection with your inner wisdom.

Crow Animal Totem

Many cultures consider crows to be the keepers of the Sacred Law, for nothing escapes their keen sight. To have a Crow as a power animal is extremely powerful stuff. When we meditate on the crow and align with it, we are instilled with the wisdom to know ourselves beyond the limitations of one-dimensional thinking and laws. We are taught to appreciate the many dimensions of both reality and ourselves, and to learn to trust our intuition and personal integrity.

Crows often appear in groups, and though there seems to be no variation in their caw-ing to each other, each caw actually has a different meaning. Their complex vocabulary is one sign of their intelligence, and is also a sign of their significance as power animals. When a crow explores something new, others watch closely to see what happens and then learn from it. They often make great noise when hunters are around, warning deer and other birds. Crows recognise potential danger and hence always post lookouts when feeding. This is their most vulnerable time. This helps us understand that we must watch what we believe, to test our habitual ideas about reality against a more universal standard.

Without paying careful attention, we are unable to understand the language of crows, this signifies the fact that we can't always see beyond our own cultural limitations. These limitations include certain moral codes of right and wrong, along with 'rules' that accompany these codes.

Throughout history there have been many (unnecessary) conflicts and wars between humans due to differing moral and religious beliefs. To truly create a new age of love, peace and harmony it is of high importance for us to be able to transcend our particular cultural limitations and to hold in our hearts and souls what we share as spiritual beings in human form. We are all connected, infinitely and composed of the same 'stuff'. We need to realise that hurting others only hurts ourselves. Crow is the bird which represents this transcendence.

Crow can also teach us to be mindful about judging people automatically. Be mindful of your opinions and actions. You need to walk your talk, to speak your truth and to know your life's mission. Again, trust your intuition and personal integrity, to create your own standards, whether or not they match those of the world around you. Be an individual, think for yourself, don't necessarily follow the crowd!

In the courting process the male crow's voice takes on a singing quality. This lets us see what the basis of sacred law is, unconditional love, the one unfailing principle by which we can test our own principles.

Crow is an omen of change. Crows live in the void and have no sense of time, therefore being able to see past, present and future simultaneously. They unite both the light and the dark, both the inner and the outer. Crow is the totem of the Great Spirit and must be held with utmost respected. They are representations of creation and spiritual strength.

Crows are messengers, telling us about the creation and magic all around us, that is available to us just for the asking. Look for opportunities to bring into being the magic of life. The striking black colour of the crow represents the colour of creation. It is the womb out of which the new comes into existence. Black is the colour of the night, giving birth to the light of a new day.

Crows are sly and can be deceptive in their actions. They have been known to build false nests high in treetops to confuse predators. Their nests are built very high up, giving them the chance to watch everything that is going on around them.

As crows are adaptable to all environments and will eat almost anything, they can survive in almost any situation. Crow is surrounded by magic, unseen forces and spiritual strength. If crow enters your life, get out of your familiar nest, look beyond your present range of vision, listen to the message(s) in its caw and act accordingly.

Spirit Guides

Do animals come to people in physical or symbolic form as guides and teachers? God or Spirit is constantly in touch with us, whether through more etheric beings such as angels and ancestors or through various earth elements. Animals are specific and concrete symbols, which sometimes make it easier for people to relate to.

When an animal shows up repetitively, whether it's the physical animal or a symbol, Spirit is trying to communicate something to you through that animal. For instance, you're sitting outside, one evening, and an owl flies over your head; it's not a random event, it has significance. This may mean that you need to examine hidden aspects of yourself that may be problematic, or indicate that it's important to pay attention to deceitful behaviour by someone in your life.

Since some animals are less commonly seen, they show up to us symbolically, as in dreams, pictures, or when others talk about them. Understand that when this occurs, it is not the animal that is communicating or just the spirit of that animal. The collective consciousness of that species is communicating through this representative, offering spiritual guidance to you.

Do you think we fail to see the wisdom of animal spirit guides? There is a reverence for these animals; however, the concept of them being spirit guides is apparently missing. The idea that an animal can serve as a spirit guide has its roots in indigenous shamanic cultures.

These ancient cultures and indigenous people today are more closely attuned to the earth and view it as alive and capable of providing omens and signs to assist the people in how to live their lives. Animals are considered to be related through a common spiritual force, and therefore able to communicate and offer guidance to human beings. So it is more than reverence. Animals are perceived as both physical beings and spiritual beings, and can offer messages and signs that help people navigate through life more easily.

How do children benefit from animal spirit guides? Children love animals. When encouraged by parents and others, a child can begin to understand that there is more to the animal. Over time, the child can appreciate the life force that animates the animal. They can also learn to call on their animal spirit guides for help with problems or challenges. by Steven Farmer

Buffalo Amnimal Totem

BUFFALO
The great bison or buffalo of North America is a very powerful symbol to American Indians. Though best suited to cooler climates, buffalos roamed virtually in entire continent. The smaller woodlands buffalo and its bigger cousin, the plains buffalo were revered and honored in ceremony and every day life. To the plains Indian, our Buffalo Brother meant sacred life and the abundance of the Creator's blessing on Mother Earth.

BUFFALO MEDICINE
The buffalo is powerful medicine that is a symbol of sacrifice and service to the community. The buffalo people agreed to give their lives so the American Indian could have food, shelter and clothing.
The buffalo is also a symbol of gratitude and honor as it is happy to accept its meager existence as it stands proud against the winds of adversity.
The buffalo represents abundance of the Creator's bounty and respect for all creation knowing that all things are sacred.
The buffalo represents a manifestation of the divine aspects of our being.
Because of its size, speed and sharp horns, buffalos can be dangerous when threatened. People who hear the message of the buffalo spirit are reminded to temper their power in dealing with others and allow the tranquility and peace of the Buffalo Brother to enter their lives.
Those with this totem need to remember to see the good in all things and not let their frustration store up inside them.
Unlike the European domesticated cow that places its rump toward approaching cold and faces away, the buffalo turns its head to face and stand firmly against raging storm. This quality reminds us to have courage and face problems head-on.
Buffalos unite against danger as buffalo cows defend their young, old and sick by forming a protective circle around them and the bulls form a circle around the cows. If you see the buffalo circle in dream or vision, it may mean someone around you requires your strength to defend and honor them. Or, it is a call to unite with others to bring about positive change.
The huge head of the Buffalo Brother signifies higher mental abilities that is grounded to Mother Earth by their tough bodies.
The buffalo teaches us how to eliminate our burdens by directing our energy in a balanced way.
